Religious Education
At St. George’s, as a Church of England school, Religious Education (RE) is taught as a core subject. We believe that a high-quality RE curriculum is essential to achieving our school vision of "Wonderfully made, inspired to shape the world," as it develops understanding and unity among diverse communities by exploring different beliefs.
We follow the Worcestershire Agreed Syllabus for RE, complemented by Understanding Christianity, a quality scheme designed to deepen children's thinking and encourage meaningful reflection. Through this approach, we challenge our pupils to think critically, understand the beliefs of others, and grow in their own spiritual journey, helping them to contribute positively to a diverse world.
