The school gates open at 8.35am every morning. This is the start of the 5-minute drop-off window. The official start of the school day is 8.40am.

We encourage the parents and carers of children in Years 3 and 4 to drop their children at the gate on Stevenson Avenue and allow their children to walk to their classroom independently. This is good preparation for when they go to middle school.

Parents and carers of children in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes are asked to walk their child to their classrooms.  This is so they can have a quick kiss or a quick hug to get their day in school off to a good start. 

The school day ends at 3.10pm and all children need to be collected from their classroom by an adult who is known to them. If you are running late to collect your child or are sending someone else to collect them on your behalf, please phone the school office, so we can reassure your child(ren) that someone is on their way.

Our school is currently open to all our pupils for 32 hours and 5 minutes per week.

Before/After school clubs currently take place on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for children in Years 1, 2, 3 and 4. All clubs finish at 4.15pm. 

Wraparound Care:

Following a whole-school survey, there was insufficient demand to provide before and after school wraparound care at this time. This is reviewed regularly, so please speak with the school office if this is something you require, as we are also able to signpost families to local providers who may be able to help.
