The process of coming into school for the first time, moving into a new class or moving onto to a new school is a significant life experience for children and their parents and carers. A smooth and seamless transition can mean that children continue to succeed and thrive.  However, a poorly planned or rushed transition can lead to children struggling emotionally, socially, academically and practically.

Whether children are joining St. George’s, moving between year groups within our school, or moving to another setting entirely, ensuring children have a well planned and structured transition is our top priority.
